To keep instrument trolley for normal delivery, breech delivery, dilation and curettage and for episiotomy ready at all times.
To stock all emergency medicines, drugs and baby tray and resuscitation equipments ready.
To take pathological samples and send them to the laboratory for testing
To counselling & provide psychological support to patients.
Responsible for promoting family welfare schemes
Responsible for newborn baby's immunisation.
Responsible to teach patients on feeding of newborn baby.
To adher to biomedical waste disposal norms
Carry out other duty assigned by immediate superior.

To ensure that all catheters in situ are functional and not blocked

To ensure close and careful observance of patient tio find out any sudden change in patient's medical condition. To promptly report that change to doctors.
